Bracket Kit for Building a Reliable, Collapsible Gong Stand with Star Pickets
The STAR-DELTA Gong Target System is a heavy-duty bracket kit designed to create a collapsible A-frame gong stand using steel star pickets (not included). Offering the same functional layout as our 70x35-DELTA system, it’s a great option for shooters who have easy access to star pickets or prefer not to use timber. Compact, simple to deploy, and built for repeat use in rugged outdoor environments.

✔ Heavy-Duty A-Frame Brackets – Quick-release pins allow for fast setup and folding for compact storage.
✔ Star Picket Compatible Design – Designed to work with standard steel star pickets (not included). Choose off-the-shelf lengths from most hardware stores.
✔ Bracket-Only Kit – This is a full bracket and hardware set. Star pickets and target plates are not included.
✔ Compact & Durable – Slim profile design with strong, weather-resistant steel pickets.
✔ Direct Mount Chain Setup – Chains can be attached straight to existing or newly drilled holes in the crossbar – no eye bolt kits needed.
✔ Light Duty Chain Kit Recommended – Works best with our Light Duty Hanging Chain Kits (sold separately). Long chain kits are ideal if using longer or taller pickets.
✔ Stability Options – Star pickets can be lightly driven into the ground for stability. For pegging down, 300mm Nail-Pegs (sold separately) can be used if holes are drilled through the leg pickets.
✔ Use with Increased Safe Distances – Steel pickets may deflect fragmentation unpredictably. This system requires greater minimum safe distances and is best suited to rural properties or controlled environments with clear backstops and surroundings.
