This 6mm AR450 armour steel love-heart face plate is a direct replacement for the Dual Flip Paddle Bracket Kit. Designed for rimfire and light-calibre applications, this plate offers greater durability than mild steel while maintaining safe deflection angles and reliable paddle performance. Ideal for those upgrading their system or replacing a worn face plate.

CNC-cut from 6mm raw (uncoated) AR450 steel, this face plate is purpose-built for .22LR, .22 Magnum, and .17 HMR. It is not rated for centrefire use. Its improved abrasion resistance and impact performance make it a smart upgrade for regular rimfire shooters.

💡 System Compatibility
This face plate bolts to the Dual Flip Paddle Bracket Kit, which mounts to the 90x35 Post Top Target Mount and houses two reactive flip paddle brackets. The plate shields the bracket hardware from impacts and forms the visual target zone border while allowing full paddle movement behind the plate.

🛑 Rimfire Only: .22LR, .22 Magnum, .17 HMR
🔹 Handgun Use (Angled Targets – 16° to 20°+): 10 metres+
🔹 Rifle Use (Angled Targets – 16° to 20°+): 25 metres+
🔹 Vertical Targets: Not applicable – system is always angled
🔹 Max Velocity: 2,650 fps at impact
🔹 Min Velocity: 700 fps at impact
🔹 Max Energy: 300 ft-lbs

⚠️ Important Notes:

Not rated for centrefire rifle or high-velocity ammo
Not suitable for jacketed, magnum, or steel-core rounds
Subsonic ammo (<1,100 fps) may not reliably flip paddles
Rounds under 500 fps may not fragment properly, increasing ricochet risk
The system's rating is always limited by its weakest component – using this armour plate with standard mild steel paddles reduces the rating to .22LR only due to mild steel being the weakest component in the shooting zone.
