Product Overview:
This Target Retainer & Shroud Kit includes everything required to reassemble the paddle retention mechanism on one arm of your Stag Point Industries Texas Star system. It features a mild steel locating shroud, target plate retainer locking plate, a spring with mounting hardware, and all fixings needed to secure the retainer to the arm.

The kit suits all Texas Star arms (mild steel, AR450, and AR500) in both 6mm and 8mm target thicknesses. Because the retainer and shroud sit completely beneath the arm, they are fully shielded from direct impact and are therefore manufactured from mild steel with a black powder-coated finish, regardless of the arm material being used.

📌 To build a complete system:
• Standard 5-arm system = add x5 kits to cart
• System with add-on arms (10 arms total) = add x10 kits to cart
📌 This kit does not include the bolts used to mount the arm to the hub – those are part of the main system.

⚠️ Important Usage Note – Centre-Fire Use
This kit is designed for reactive use across rimfire and centre-fire systems. However, under high-velocity or heavy projectile centre-fire rifle use, the retainer lock plate may bend if the target is ejected too violently.
If this occurs, we recommend increasing distance to reduce impact energy. While the retainer is protected under the arm, extremely hot rounds or excessive energy may still deform the spring assembly. Always match ammo and distance to target ratings.
