Overview

The Duel-Master Final Paddle Target – Partial Kit is a compact, duelling tree-style add-on designed to bolt directly to the 90x35 Post Top Target Mount (sold separately). Featuring a black powder-coated steel base plate and a raw, uncoated 6mm mild steel face plate in a love-heart profile, the system deflects splatter downward while protecting critical components.

This kit is ideal for rimfire training, casual head-to-head duelling, or cowboy-style matches, offering a fast-resetting and lightweight alternative to traditional popper targets. AR450 and AR500 face plate upgrades are available separately for higher calibre ratings.

How It Works

Both paddles start in the outward-facing position. In a duel setup, Shooter A engages the left paddle and Shooter B engages the right paddle. When hit, each paddle flips inward towards the centre. The first paddle to flip will sit in front, providing instant visual confirmation of who hit first — perfect for competitive, time-scored stages.

Recommended Paddle Sizes

✅ Best: 100mm paddles – ideal for reliable flipping and visual clarity with .22LR
❌ Not Recommended: 150mm paddles – inconsistent flipping with low-energy .22LR
❌ Not Recommended: 50mm paddles – functional but visually undersized for this system

⚠️ Note: This mild steel version is not rated for .22 Magnum or .17 HMR.
For optimal performance, use 100mm paddles in 6mm mild steel.

Paddle Compatibility Tips

• Match paddle and face plate materials where possible

• Using a stronger face plate with lighter paddles is fine (e.g. AR500 plate + mild paddles)

• System rating defaults to the weakest material in the impact zone

• Example: AR500 face plate + mild paddles = safe, but system rated to mild specs

✔ Rated for air/CO₂ (.177, .22) and .22LR only
✔ Max velocity: 1,200 fps
✔ Min velocity: 800 fps
✔ Rimfire use at 25m+ (angled targets only)
⚠️ Not suitable for centrefire or high-velocity rounds
⚠️ Subsonic rounds under 1,100 fps may not flip paddles reliably
