The Star Picket ADAPT Mount allows you to attach Stake & Shoot-style paddle targets directly to a standard star picket (not included), creating a simple, compact reactive system for rimfire shooting. Built from heavy-duty steel and fitted with a dual-spring recoil system, this one-piece mount delivers reliable paddle reset and fun target feedback – no bulky base required.

Originally based on our Star Picket Gong Hanger design, this customised ADAPT version has been purpose-built as a dedicated mount for short 200mm tall Stake & Shoot paddle targets only. Taller 400mm targets are not recommended due to increased leverage strain on the mount and picket under repeated use.

• Star picket is not included – required for mounting

• Stake & Shoot paddle targets are sold separately – see our Steel Gongs, Paddles and Target Plate Profiles category

• Only compatible with 200mm tall Stake & Shoot paddle targets – longer targets place excessive strain on the mount and are not recommended

• Silver Spring Brackets – suitable for 6mm thick targets in mild steel (.22LR) or AR450 (.22 Magnum, .17 HMR)

• Not suitable for round gong targets – see our Star Picket Gong Target Mount for gong-compatible setups

⚠️ Safety & Use Guidelines

• Vertical Design – This is not an angled system. Bullet splash may deflect unpredictably, especially if rounds strike the soft steel star picket

• Minimum Safe Distance: 50 metres – for rimfire calibres only

• Not rated for centrefire or magnum rounds
