This 6mm mild steel love-heart face plate is designed to bolt directly to our Dual Flip Paddle Bracket Kit. Whether you're completing a new build or swapping out a worn plate, this profile is purpose-built to offer downward bullet fragment deflection, excellent protection coverage of bracket components, and smooth performance with our reactive flip paddle systems.

Cut from 6mm premium mild steel and supplied raw/uncoated, this face plate is ideal for protecting against airgun and .22LR rimfire. It is not rated for higher calibres. For extended durability or rimfire magnum use, consider upgrading to the AR450 or AR500 face plate options available in separate listings.

💡 System Compatibility
This face plate is used on the Dual Flip Paddle Bracket Kit system, which mounts to the 90x35 Post Top Target Mount and houses two flip paddle brackets behind the face plate. Designed to visually shield and physically protect the base plate and flip paddle brackets, it’s a core part of the system’s safe performance and visual feedback.

🔹 Angled Targets (17° to 20°+): 25 metres+
🔹 Max Velocity: 1,200 fps at impact
🔹 Min Velocity: 800 fps at impact (not applicable to airguns)

⚠️ Important Notes:

• Not rated for centrefire or rimfire magnum calibres

• Subsonic rounds below 1,100 fps may not reliably activate flip paddles

• Rounds below 500 fps may not fragment properly, increasing ricochet risk

• All target systems are rated to their weakest component — pairing this plate with stronger paddles (e.g. AR450 or AR500) does not increase system rating
