This 8mm AR500 armour steel love-heart face plate is a direct replacement component for the Duel-Master System. Designed for centre-fire handgun and light rifle use, it delivers serious impact resistance and long-term durability within our reactive paddle system. Perfect for training environments, competitive duelling stages, and high-volume practice sessions where robust hardware is essential.

CNC-cut from raw (uncoated) 8mm AR500 armour plate, this face plate can absorb repeated hits from heavy handgun rounds up to .45 ACP and can handle light rifle use under controlled conditions. For best performance and maximum service life, match this plate with appropriately rated paddles and always maintain safe shooting distances. If excessive paddle movement occurs, increase your shooting distance or reduce velocity for optimal system longevity.

System Compatibility

This face plate bolts directly onto the Duel-Master System, which mounts to the 90x35 Post Top Target Mount and houses two reactive flip paddle brackets behind the plate. It protects internal components from direct impacts while forming the visual aiming profile, ensuring consistent paddle operation and clear visual feedback for shooters.

Important Notes

• ❌ Not rated for magnum or high-energy rifle calibres

• ⚠️ Light rifle use may cause increased wear — fragmentation deflection towards brackets can damage components

• ⚠️ Subsonic rounds below 1,100 fps may not reliably flip heavier paddles

• ⚠️ .22LR will not reliably flip 8mm paddles — use 6mm paddles for rimfire setups

• ⚠️ The system’s overall rating is always limited to the weakest component within the impact zone
