This 8mm AR500 armour steel love-heart face plate is a direct replacement part for the Dual Flip Paddle Bracket Kit. Designed for centre-fire handgun and limited rifle use, it delivers serious impact resistance and long-term durability for reactive paddle systems. Ideal for training environments and competitive match use where robust hardware is essential.

CNC-cut from raw (uncoated) 8mm AR500 plate, this face plate is built to take hits from .45 and similar high-energy handgun rounds, with enough strength to handle light rifle use under controlled conditions. For optimal performance and target longevity, match this plate with appropriately rated paddles and maintain safe shooting distances. If violent paddle actuation is occurring, increase the distance or use lower velocity rounds. 

💡 System Compatibility
This face plate bolts directly to the Dual Flip Paddle Bracket Kit, which mounts to the 90x35 Post Top Target Mount and houses two reactive paddle brackets. It protects the internal components while serving as the target profile surrounding for the shooter’s view to display the primary flip paddle as the primary target and intended impact zone.

⚠️ Important Notes:

Not rated for magnum or high-energy rifle calibres
Rifle use not recommended – close proximity fragmentation deflected towards the bracketry may damage the brackets and components from light rifles. 
Subsonic rounds (<1,100 fps) may not reliably flip heavy paddles
.22LR will not flip 8mm paddles – use 6mm paddles if shooting rimfire
System rating is always limited by the weakest component in the impact zone
