The Hit-Factor Bundle (8mm AR500) combines our field-ready Scorpion Post Stand with a reactive IPSC silhouette plate precision-cut from 8mm AR500 armour plate. This half-size silhouette system is ideal for structured drills with handguns, shotguns, and intermediate rifle rounds like .223 Rem, 5.56 NATO, and .300 Blackout. It's a solid middle-ground option for shooters who demand more strength than rimfire-rated kits, but don’t require full-scale magnum durability.

AR500 Scorpion Stand – Tough, Stable, and Modular

The 8mm AR500 post delivers solid impact resistance for high-volume handgun and rifle shooting. The angled design improves safety by directing fragmentation downward, and the system packs down small thanks to the 3-piece post format. The included 8mm Slide-Lock Hanger allows you to quickly change targets without bolts or tools – just lift off and swap. The wide-legged X-Base style frame offers improved balance and resistance to tipping under recoil.

Half-Size IPSC Target – Scaled Training, Serious Steel

With a 375mm x 225mm profile, this 8mm thick AR500 silhouette replicates the official IPSC scoring area (excluding the non-scoring border), offering a challenging and realistic aiming zone. Whether training for competition or working on real-world fundamentals, this silhouette is built to last. Universally compatible across other Stag Point Industries systems for seamless integration.

Compatible but Limited

While this stand will accept thinner plates like 6mm Mild Steel or AR450, your setup will only be as strong as its weakest component:

  • 6mm Mild Steel = .22LR only

  • 6mm AR450 = Rimfire only

  • 8mm AR500 = Rated for centre-fire pistols, shotguns & light rifles (recommended)

Modularity – Swap Plates in Seconds

Keep multiple plates pre-mounted using extra 8mm Slide-Lock Hangers (sold separately). Just lift one off and drop the next in.

8mm Post = 8mm Hanger only

Anchoring & Setup

  • Use V-Stakes or 300mm Nail Pegs (sold separately) for recoil control

  • Full hardware kit included – simply bolt the post together and go

  • Target supplied raw – repaint as needed to maintain visibility and protect steel
