When Should the Stiffening Plates Be Installed?
✔ 8mm & 10mm Paddles: Stiffening plates must remain installed to support heavy paddle actuation during centre-fire handgun and light rifle use
✔ 6mm Mild Steel or 6mm AR450 Paddles: Stiffening plates must be removed to ensure proper paddle movement when using .22LR, .22 Magnum, or .17 HMR. Removal is quick and requires basic hand tools.
