A must-have for mounting hanging chains to target frames, the Eye Bolt Kit ensures a strong and reliable setup for gong targets. Perfect for adding targets, replacing worn hardware, or keeping spares on hand.
How It Works:
✔ Eye bolts attach to the crossbar, creating a secure mounting point for hanging chains.
✔ Chains (sold separately) connect between the eye bolt and the gong, allowing the target to hang freely for movement and clear hit confirmation.
✔ Provides a stable, elevated mounting solution for various target sizes.
✔ We recommend placing the eye bolts roughly 1 metre apart on the crossbar. The further apart the eye bolts are, the quicker the gong will return to a front-facing resting position after a hit. If placed too close together, the target may spin excessively—similar to a tetherball—which slows down reset time and makes follow-up shots difficult. Proper spacing ensures faster, more consistent target recovery.
