T-Base Stand System for SPI Hatchet Hangers – Short & Long Configurations

The SPI IPSC Hatchet Hanger Stand Kit is a purpose-built freestanding target stand designed exclusively for use with Stag Point Industries Hatchet Hanger systems. Developed around IPSC-style shooting, practical training, and reactive plinking applications, this stand system provides a strong and stable mounting platform for SPI Hatchet Gong Target setups while maintaining excellent portability and simple assembly.

Manufactured from heavy-duty 8mm AR500 armour steel in the upper post impact zone, this version is designed primarily for centre-fire IPSC applications, practical shooting drills, and high-volume use where maximum durability and service life are required.

The long version is designed to position the target above standard 44-gallon drums commonly used in IPSC and practical shooting stages, while the short version positions the target lower for more compact target presentations and stage designs.

The Long Version is the preferred all-round configuration for most IPSC-style applications. The increased target height allows the target to sit above standard 44-gallon drums and common stage props, making it ideal for practical shooting stage design and competition-style training setups.

The Short Version is better suited to lower target presentations, compact stages, and applications where reduced target height is preferred.

The 8MM AR500 version is the recommended configuration for full IPSC centre-fire applications and high-volume use. It provides maximum durability within the primary impact zone while still maintaining compatibility across the entire SPI Hatchet ecosystem.

The AR450 and AR500 stand versions utilise upgraded armour post sections in the upper impact zone. The lower leg assemblies remain manufactured from 6mm mild steel, as they sit further outside the primary impact zone.
