How It Works

The Stag Point Industries IPSC Popper Activation Key allows your Mini or Standard IPSC Popper to become part of a cable-operated activation system.

The Activation Key simply slides into one of the two key slots built into the IPSC Popper target plate. As the popper falls, the key transfers the movement to a cable, allowing it to activate moving, disappearing or reactive targets elsewhere on the stage.

The key is fully reversible and can be installed as either a pull or release activation. It can also be fitted into either the upper or lower key slot depending on the desired activation characteristics.

• Upper Key Slot – Longer cable travel with lower pulling force.
• Lower Key Slot – Shorter cable travel with increased pulling force.

This allows match directors to fine-tune their activation system depending on the target or mechanism being operated.

📌 For best performance, Stag Point Industries recommends staking the popper base securely to the ground when using an Activation Key. This helps minimise base movement during activation and improves system consistency.
