The Dual Flip Paddle Bracket Full Kit is a complete duelling-style target system built for rimfire shooters who want a durable, reactive setup. It includes a powder-coated steel base plate, a raw, uncoated 6mm AR450 face plate, and x2 Post Top Flip Paddle Brackets, delivering a ready-to-go flip paddle system that bolts directly to your 90x35 Post Top Target Mount (sold separately). Ideal for cowboy-style matches, reactive speed drills, or rimfire practice where mild steel isn't enough.

The system functions by starting both paddles in the outward-facing position. In a competitive setup, Shooter A engages the left paddle, and Shooter B engages the right paddle. When hit, each paddle swings inward into the middle. The first paddle to flip will sit at the front, clearly showing who hit their target first—providing instant visual feedback in a fast-paced, reactive format.

Recommended Paddle Sizes:
✅ Best: 100mm paddles – offer reliable flipping with .22LR and excellent visibility
✅ Also compatible: 150mm paddles – may require stronger rimfire calibres such as .22 Magnum or .17 HMR for reliable flipping
❌ Not recommended: 50mm paddles – while they may function, they are visually undersized and not proportioned to this system

⚠️ Note: 6mm 150mm paddles may not flip reliably with .22LR due to low impact energy.
For best results:

  • Use 6mm 100mm paddles in mild steel or AR450 for .22LR

  • Use 6mm AR450 paddles in 100mm or 150mm for .22 Magnum or .17 HMR

Paddle Compatibility Tips:

  • Match paddle material to face plate (e.g. AR450 with AR450)

  • A stronger face plate with lighter paddles is fine, but the system is rated to the weakest component

  • Example: Using mild steel paddles with this AR450 face plate limits the system to mild steel safety ratings

⚠️ Subsonic rounds (<1,100 fps) may not flip paddles reliably
⚠️ Rounds under 500 fps may not fragment properly and may increase ricochet risk
